Gee

Under the second Package called "Baby", you only pay on a monthly basis. You can choose to stop your hosting account with Hostgator anytime, no questions asked. Again, its for UNLIMITED number of Domain names.

For Package Specifications - please read them under the respective Package.

I had bad experience with a Free Domain that comes with Hosting. Hosting company do not give you back the Domain name and you are bust!

Free listings with search engine - you can do this yourself in 5 minutes.

Online Ads Credit with Google or Yahoo - I get this Offer all the time. No need to get them from your Hosting.

Customer Service at Hostgator - if you are their customer, you chat online with only 1 customer service person at a time. And no - you are not sent here and there by them. That person will resolve it for you there and then in a jiff. It is 24 hours, 365 days and 7 days a week service.

Hostgator is giving out 20% Discount now for 1 year subscription or even the monthly service. Do take advantage of them, as they do not do that often.

May,

On HostGator's "Baby Shared Hosting" plan:

1) Does this US$7.95/month hosting fee applies only if one pays 12 or 24 months of hosting fees in advance? What if you pay monthly - Is it US$9.99/month?

2) Does the package offer:
a) Disk space or storage space 1,500 GB or more?
b) Bandwidth or data transfer 15,000 GB or more?
c) Free domain?

3) Does it include:
a) Free listing with search engines?
b) Generous online ads credits with Google or Yahoo?

4) What about its customer support? Does it usually solve your problem in 1 reply after a discussion at their end (like GoDaddy usually)? Or, usually in multiple replies from different staff members?

It's good to gather more feedback and compare hosting packages before committing as it is quite troublesome to change web hosting after committing.

I always hope that web hosting firm will reward loyalty of their existing customers by constantly upgrading their package to those offered by their competitors.

Cheers
