Many of you may not know this but I am a Certified TotalWebLite DIY Web Creator Trainer and I conducted this training at the Malaysia Productivity Corperation MPC in Petaling Jaya. TotalWebLite is a do-it-yourself website software creator developed by Emerge Sdn Bhd in Malaysia.

I was invited to provide training at this event. So the organizer for this one day hands-on workshop called me and informed me that it was to be held on 16 July 2008 to train a group of 10 Small Medium Industry and Small Medium Enterprise entrepreneurs from the Klang Valley.

So I told MPC’s Manager, En Tengku Azmi Tengku Majid and his Consultant, Cik Hafizah Sith that I would gladly conduct the training to their SMI and SME members at the MPC training centre on that day.

The objective of the training was to enable small business owners to own a website of their own to promote and market their product and services online. Only a handful of MPC’s members actually have a website to conduct their business. Most of them conduct their business using the offline traditional methods.

At the end of the day, we were able to get all of the ten entrepreneurs going home with a domain name, hosting and a website with a few pages to go on with happily.
