Wordpress Blogging Mastery Malaysia

A few days back, AllMalaysia.Info sent out an email to all registered Malaysian bloggers about the All Malaysian Bloggers Project (AMBP) first-time gathering at StarBucks, MidValley, Kuala Lumpur today.

I went along to attend the AMBP meet at around 11am. There were about fifty bloggers by the time I got there. A Registration counter was setup to register member bloggers at the door. Door gift packs were given out and a voucher for Star Bucks Free drink.

After a short chat with Michael and Andy of The Star, they said the objective of having the All Malaysian Bloggers Project meet was to find out ways to help, assist and gather feedback and suggestions from Malaysian bloggers out there. Any Malaysian bloggers can contribute their feedback and comments by writing to them at AllMalaysia.Info or through Facebook regards this event and suggestions for improvement.

All Malaysian Blogger Project Lucky Draw session

Postmortem:

* Too many tables and chairs and not enough space to walk around and mingle

* The only activity that was going on was the Lucky Draw held twice within the three hour duration

Suggestion:

* Take out the tables to make space for bloggers to mingle around with their drinks

* Invite some Guest Speaker to talk about certain Blogging aspect

My overall observation of the All Malaysian Bloggers Project gathering was informal, friendly, small, younger and older crowd, good coffee or tea on the house and plenty of social networking opportunities, with lots of room for activity improvement for future meet.
